Luanda's first superhero in a long, long time. A young man of incredible agility, endurance and strength, his ability to heal and continually reappear after what should have been lethal wounds has turned him into something of a local legend.
In civilian life, he has none of the support his superhero persona gets. Being of mixed race in a country where that is very not okay, he's a loner whose relative privilege failed to shelter him from the awfulness of the world. Most of his initial motivation for becoming a hero can be classified as upper class guilt, in addition to a continual refusal to let the world stay as bad as it is. One man can't stop all the crime in a country, but he can be an ideal, an idea, and hopefully help other people take up the charge.
When not running around under cover of darkness, he tends to read a lot, having more social skills in masked form than out of it, mostly because in masked form he's entirely covered and reads as race-neutral, so his insecurities about his normal appearance don't apply. Extremely serious and perpetually trying to be more grown up than he is, Ezequiel lives with his mother, who he loves more than anyone in the world, and has a burning hatred for his father, who shared his superpowers but never did anything but rise through the criminal world with them.
He's trilingual, has been trained in gymnastics and sewed his own costume, which was designed for practicality much more than style. Although he'd die of embarrassment if he had to admit it, he's a big fan of romantic kizomba songs. His utter hatred of diamonds is directly related to his father's owning a diamond mine that is absolutely wallowing in corruption, and although his father has reached out to him, the continual promises to go straight are lies and it's more of a headache than it's worth it to Ezequiel most of the time... even if that distance means never knowing where his lineage of powers are from or what caused this.
Ezequiel is the idea and property of his mun, as is all associated artwork of him. He is currently 14, and his mun is 21. All embarrassing kizomba songs will be credited as they're used.
